This past week, we scoured through market looking for new brands and pieces to feature in our upcoming collections for October, November, and December. We are excited for you to see what we found. Here's a quick glimpse of some of the trends we noticed that will be heading into the colder months.
What's trending for winter?
Western Inspiration – Western styles seemed to be everywhere, with numerous collections drawing inspiration from this timeless aesthetic. Brands like Nili Lotan, Mother, and Rails incorporated subtle nods to western influences, infusing their pieces with a rustic charm.
Bold Colors – Two colors stood out prominently to us at the market: bold red and lemon yellow/chartreuse. Adding a pop of color to your look will be major for this winter!
Cheetah Print – It's back! From blouses to skirts and accessories, this fantastic neutral print can effortlessly elevate your look, adding a touch of personality while remaining neutral and fun.
The Drop Waist – We've started to see a lot of this silhouette for spring, and it will continue to be prominent as we transition into winter.
After back-to-back appointments all day long, our favorite way to end the day is with a fabulous meal. We eagerly anticipate our dinner reservations on each trip. For a glimpse into our favorite restaurants we visited, take a look at our NYC food guide below.
Emporio was a new experience for us! With such a great atmosphere, be sure to request a table in the back!
CAFE ALTRO PARADISO
We stumbled upon Cafe Altro during our walk to our next appointment. We had to stop for a little lunch, where we ordered the classic pesto and pomodoro pasta. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, and we will definitely be back.
BUVETTE
A forever favorite of ours, the quintessential French experience. Every dish is perfection.
JACK'S WIFE FREDA
Another classic spot on our NYC list. Their brunch menu is perfect, and the people-watching is excellent.
