POSITION: FULL TIME MARKETING & E-COMMERCE ASSOCIATE

Position Overview:

As the Marketing and E-Commerce Associate at Eleanor and Hobbs, you will lead the digital presence of the brand by creating compelling content, managing social media, crafting engaging email campaigns, and overseeing the daily operations of our online store. This role blends creativity and strategy to maintain our brand’s voice, optimize the e-commerce experience, and ensure a seamless connection with our customers across all digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Content Creation: Develop and execute content for our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) that aligns with our brand’s clean, minimalist aesthetic. You will be responsible for creating and scheduling daily posts, stories, and engaging with followers to maintain an active and loyal social media community.

    • Film, edit, and produce high-quality video content, including Instagram Reels, Stories, and other social media videos, that engage and inspire our audience.

  • Email Marketing: Write, design, and send weekly email campaigns to our customer base, showcasing new arrivals, exclusive offers, and brand stories.

    • Use email marketing tools to create compelling email designs and manage customer segments.

    • Create subject lines, copy, and calls-to-action that drive engagement and sales.

    • Evaluate data and drive business through increased client conversion 

  • Shopify Management: Maintain and update product listings on Shopify, including uploading new products, editing existing listings, managing inventory levels, and optimizing product descriptions and images.

  • Promotions & Discounts: Create and implement online promotions, discounts, and sales events within Shopify to drive traffic and increase sales.

  • Website Updates: Manage and update the website bi-weekly, including refreshing images and content to accurately reflect current inventory available in-store and online. Ensure that all visual elements align with the brand's aesthetic and marketing strategy.

  • Brand Voice: Maintain consistency of the Eleanor and Hobbs brand voice across all digital platforms. Whether crafting social media posts or email copy, you will ensure that our messaging feels cohesive and authentic, reflecting the elegance, simplicity, and sophistication of our brand.

  • Creative Design: Use tools like Canva, Photoshop, or similar platforms to create on-brand graphics, email templates, and promotional assets that showcase our products in the best light.

  • Content Calendar Management: Plan and organize a content calendar to ensure regular, timely delivery of content across social media and email campaigns. Keep track of key events, product launches, sales, and promotions.

  • Customer Engagement: Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media, helping to foster a sense of community and build strong relationships with our audience.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Track the performance of social media and email campaigns, analyze key metrics like engagement, open rates, and click-through rates.

  • Use the data to drive more business to both the website and the store.

  • AI: Basic understanding of AI tools and technologies, with the ability to explore and leverage them to enhance marketing and e-commerce strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Creative & Strategic Thinker: A strong creative eye with an ability to curate aesthetically pleasing and engaging content. You must be able to think outside the box while staying true to the brand's core values.

  • Brand Understanding: Deep understanding of our products and brand identity, with the ability to showcase our boutique’s unique offerings in a way that feels fresh and inspiring.

  • Excellent Writing Skills: Strong copywriting skills with an ability to adapt the brand’s voice across different formats, from social media captions to email subject lines.

  • Design Proficiency: Experience using Canva, Photoshop, or other design platforms to create high-quality visual content, including graphics, social media posts, and email templates.

  • Email Marketing Experience: Prior experience with email marketing tools, especially Klayvio or Flodesk (preferred), and a strong understanding of how email marketing can drive business.

  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines. You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment - Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve.

  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly pivot strategies and adjust messaging to meet seasonal changes, product launches, and customer needs.

 

POSITION: PART TIME SALES ASSOCIATE/STYLIST

At Eleanor and Hobbs, we are passionate about fashion, and we seek women who share our same enthusiasm and live-breathe-eat fashion! As a Stylist/Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving outstanding sales results.

Role Overview:
As a Stylist at Eleanor and Hobbs, you will work closely with clients to help them make the best style choices for their lifestyle and wardrobe. This role requires a self-motivated sales professional who excels at developing new client leads, building a personal client base, and nurturing relationships with repeat customers. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly sales goals and contribute to store success.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all products and designers through independent research.
  • Stay updated on seasonal fashion trends and understand the fit and fabrication of all products.
  • Work independently and effectively in both busy and quieter retail environments.
  • Perform all POS duties proficiently.
  • Keep the store organized with routine tidying, and ensure merchandise is displayed immaculately.
  • Complete opening and closing duties as outlined in store policies.
  • Utilize open communication with all colleagues, and encourage constant team spirit. Keep the “drama” at the door step. We are all here to support each other!

Qualifications:

  • Fashion Savvy: Demonstrate a keen sense of style and an understanding of current fashion trends.
  • Comfortable in Front of the Camera: Be confident and at ease while on camera.
  • Client Outreach: Skilled in reaching out to clients and building and maintaining a loyal clientele.
  • Flexible Hours: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends.
  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
