Pantone's Color of the Year is Cloud Dancer. Here's how to use it this fall.
Pantone named PANTONE 11-4201 TCX Cloud Dancer its 2026 Color of the Year, a soft, lofty white. White is easy to love and harder to style for fall, so we took three of Pantone's own palettes built around it, plus one of our own, and pulled pieces for each from this season's new arrivals.
Each palette starts with Cloud Dancer. Wear it as the shirt, the sweater or the base layer, and let the other colors do the work.
Comfort Zone
Pantone’s natural, organic palette: sand, camel and warm taupe around the white. The easiest one to wear in October.
Start with a chunky white turtleneck or a relaxed button-up, then layer camel over it. Keeping every piece in the same warm family makes the white read as soft rather than stark.

Softened blues that deepen into shadow. White on top, denim and navy underneath, charcoal to close.
A cream pullover over a mid-wash jean is the simplest version. Add a navy cardigan when the temperature drops.

Caramel and cocoa crème from Pantone’s dessert palette, deepened with a Bordeaux borrowed from Glamour & Gleam. Brown to wine, with white to keep it light.
This one is ours. Mix a Fair Isle knit with a caramel sweater, or go straight to a brown dress for the holidays.
